Holmegaard Blue Time Shot Glasses Set of 6 | Christel & Christer Holmgren 1971

Blue Time is a distinctive Danish Modern glass series designed in 1971 by Christel Holmgren-Exner and Christer Holmgren for Holmegaard. Named after “the blue hour” between daylight and evening, the design captures this atmosphere through flowing shades of cobalt and soft blue suspended within clear glass.

Each glass features a substantial flared base and an organic blue ribbon, individually formed so that no two glasses are exactly alike. The thick clear glass beautifully refracts the blue decoration, creating striking optical effects from every angle.

This complete set of six is preserved in exceptional vintage condition, with beautifully clear glass and no chips, cracks or glass disease. A wonderful collector’s set and an elegant example of 1970s Scandinavian design.
